Google Plus
So… few hours ago my friend Mike Said finally sent me an invite to Google Plus. WOW.. Again wow. lets just talk about the speed. In the time it took me to load my friends page in Facebook I switched over the Google Plus and switched between the Postings Page, then the Pictures Page then the Friends (Circle of friends) page and finally my profile page. And all while I’m doing this Facebook is plucking along like a tired donkey going uphill with foam coming out its mouth.
Now I might be premature because I don’t think Google Plus has 400 million users yet but I cannot remember Facebook ever being that fast even way back in 2006 when i got my first invite. Secondly, the Interface has no blue in it.. what a relieve. have they never heard of a revamp? O sorry yes they did they revamp their site slower and slower every time.
Lets talk about functionality… Yes it is simple and to the point. It integrates with Picasa and Gmail and Google Talk like they were made for Google Plus. The Circle of Friends thingy magoodie work nicely thank you very much.
There are one or two things I don’t like, but at this stage I think it is because of a lack of figuring it out.
Few other things that stand out where Facebook is lying on their face is the way Google Plus suggest friends. very quick and very efficient. I am not sure how the “Sparks” feature will effect the way it works as reading about Google Plus before today I did not know about the feature.
Then finally, doing a posting on my “Wall” makes for so much better control. Not only does it work the same as Facebook but I can also email people direct with address in my Gmail.
Lets hope Google Plus does not die like Google Buzz and suffocate like Google Wave did. (Although i was surprized to see some of my old Buzz posting somewhere in Google Plus
Go go Google Plus Plus Plus (can you hear the echo.. ?)
Nickad.com
Every now and the I hop along a website by accident on the Internet that makes the word “wow” seem an insult. I have seen websites by the thousands, quite literally, and thus far the “wow” factor comes around every now and then.
The other day I was looking for a “Drop Down Menu System” for the “World Chefs Tour Against Hunger” website that I am managing the content and design of, and found this website. Nickad.com.
At first glance I thought it was down for maintenance or something but when I clicked the mouse button the most amazing thing happened, and this is where my writings about this website ends, as I cannot in words put what happened next. Go Look yourself, it is the coolest thing I have ever seen on the Internet. Enjoy…
Listhings.com

? you-name-it.
You can take notes straight from your web browser and all the notes are automatically saved to Listhings database servers. When you’re a registered user, you can also access your notes from anywhere, share them with anyone and collaborate in real-time. This makes Listhings the perfect tool for a virtual Scrum-board.
Listhings was launched in April 2009 and has over 15,000 users.
Internet Browsers
Source Google : “Beginning August 1st 2011, we’ll support the current and prior major release of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on a rolling basis. As of August 1st 2011, we will discontinue support for the following browsers and their predecessors: Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7, and Safari 3.
